The new 2019 Porsche 911 revealed

The next 911 will offer a hybrid powertrain and the Turbo models will stay with a combustion engine. They say it will be the best so far.

The next 911, generation 992, will offer something more than the old 911, driver always being the main focus adding to the car some autonomous features. One of the systems will be Lane Keep Assist, which inputs small movements in the steering wheel to keep the car in the middle of the lane, a system that is not available on the 911.

About switching to full electric mode, Porsche will wait a bit more, even though they are one final step closer to that moment. When the new 911 will be launch, will be equipped with a 630hp Turbo S engine. The Turbo and Turbo S will remain the most aggressive models in the fleet. Even though the 992-generation 911 will be the first to offer hybrid technology, on the outside there will be no major changes compared to the standard model. The next 911, including GT3, will use turbocharged six-cylinder engines, ending the era of natural aspirated engines.

The hybrid 911 model will be launched in 2020 and will have a flat-six engine with and electric engine.
