Lexus LF-1 Limitless Concept
Wooooowww!! This concept from Lexus, really doesn't have any limit.
Lexus prepared for the 2018 Chicago Auto Show a concept car called Lexus LF-1 Limitless which should attract all eyes. And it did that!
This concept car is presenting the next genre in luxury crossover vehicles. It was created in Southern California by Calty Design Research Inc. as a flagship Lexus luxury crossover heading towards a more human future. It has a beautiful angular design with a panoramic glass roof and distinctive split rear spoiler, a simple yet elegant design concept dubbed "molten katana". Inside, shimmering accent lights create a feeling of warmth and wonder, while technologies like digital side-view monitors and 4-D navigation help the driver remain focused on the future. Has a 5014 mm/197.4 inches lenght, 1986 mm/78.2 inches width, 1605 mm/63.2 inches height and 2974 mm/117.1 inches wheelbase.
The Lexus LF-1 could be powered by fuel cell, hybrid, plug-in hybrid, gasoline or even all-electric. They say that until 2025 every Lexus model will be available either as a dedicated electrified model or have an electrified option.
The Lexus LF-1's dash-to-axle ratio gives it an athletic profile. Combined with a cabin that sits deep within the rear wheel drive chassis and aggressive 22-inch wheels barely contained under fenders, the LF-1 has a powerful stance that converts performance into glance.
Technology enhances the luxurious feel of the Lexus by expanding the options offered to the driver. It starts with the Chauffeur mode, which allows for hands-free operation thanks to the vehicle's by-wire steering, braking, acceleration, lights and signals. There is also a four-dimensional navigation system which builds on traditional systems by adding the element of time to the equation. It acts as a concierge for the occupants by anticipating the needs of the driver and passengers based on the progress, traffic and road conditions along the programed trip, suggesting fuel stops, rest breaks and restaurants, even making hotel reservations. Touch-responsive haptic controls easily reached from the steering wheel interface with 4D navigation system and integrated comfort and entertainment systems.
With its innovative technology and captivating style, the new Lexus represents the potential for an amazing experience for future luxury customers.
